Cedar Street Matchbox Show

‘Tis the season for small paintings! I am part of the Cedar Street Matchbox Show, 2020 edition. The show is online here: http://www.cedarstreetgalleries.com/bin/special.cgi until January 10, 2020

I have 6 pieces in the show:

Lunch with Friends: Honu and Saddle Wrasse
Threadfin Butterflyfish in a Shallow Reef
Raccoon Butterflyfish
Illuminated ‘Apapane
Illuminated I'iwi
Illuminated I’iwi
Mejiro with White Orchids

I have had the pleasure of seeing some of the other works in the show and there are a lot of beautiful paintings and 3D works! I think my personal highlight was seeing a penguin feather lei woven by Boris Huang! How many penguin feather lei have been made in the history of the world do you think? I have to think it’s a rare sight! It was beautifully made.

You can go see the show in person – it’s always best that way, but if you are off-island or can’t make it to the gallery, please do visit online. Again the link is: http://www.cedarstreetgalleries.com/bin/special.cgi
