First Friday CANCELLED

CANCELLED: DUE TO ISSUES WITH THE BUILDING, THE 1041 MAUNAKEA FLOOR 2 ARTISTS ARE NOT GOING TO PARTICIPATE THIS TIME

Join me on First Friday at 1041 Maunakea in Honolulu (across the street from a convenient Chinatown municipal parking lot).  Come up to the second floor and you can visit the spaces of some of my talented fellow artists (I will be showing the art of Nadya Rego since she is busy at an art fair that night).  Ashley Albritton will be there, and maybe Shyrl Matias as well.  The artists studios are really fun to see, and a good example of how different artists like to set up their workspaces which is always interesting.  I am a guest for that evening, and will bring a few paintings to show in the main space, and a some gift items for sale.  I am planning to bring all 16 of my little birds in advance of the Gallery on the Pali Show.  In this case, the early bird gets the bird, so if there is a painting you have your eye on, this is the first time you can purchase them in person. If you buy it that night, you can take it home in time for Christmas, and you won’t have to wait for the show at Gallery on the Pali to conclude. However, people who just want to look around are totally welcome.  No purchase necessary – it’s a true open studio.  Come chat and have some refreshments.  It’s always a fun atmosphere!  As an added bonus the Watercolor Society and Glass Artists have a reception for their show called “Translucence” at Mark’s Garage the same night.  It will be a particularly fun First Friday!
