Oahu Open Studios Self-Guided Tour Day 2

WEEKEND 1: WINDWARD SIDE O’AHU

Saturday and Sunday, November 7 + 8 • 11am – 6pm

I am going to be in a wonderful location this year with five artists all sharing a beautiful beachside dream studio. It will be a fun year to come visit us at Oahu Open Studios. The renovation looms in the near future over my own studio, so I am going to be at Sherree McKellar’s beautiful dream house on the beach with fellow artists: Sherree McKellar, Suzanne Barnes, Mark Brown, and Frank Oliva. I have paintings and gifts ready just in time for the holidays.  Stop by and visit, enjoy refreshments, art, good company, and unique shopping in the gorgeous area where President Obama takes his annual vacation. It’s an amazing stretch of beach with a stunning view of the Mokes. Sherree is building a home centered around her love of art.  It is not only beautiful, but highly functional for entertaining.  She has designed it with a courtyard and balconies all positioned to take advantage of the surroundings and yet provide shelter from the wind on stormy days so that the McKellars can host artist gatherings and workshops. If you can come see it in person, I would highly recommend it! I am excited to be in great company with my talented colleagues!
