While the burnt sienna coloring and the lines which follow the form were inspired by my studies of Leonardo Da Vinci, I let this drawing become a little less rigid as far as the economy of lines. I saw a drawing by Botticelli that I loved because it was softer and while I was not referencing it at all, I think it seeped in and influenced this drawing of my daughter.
